However, as an Individual are we taking responsibility of following all the precautions such as mask on, hand sanitization, maintaining social distance and breaking the chain or are we just blaming others for our lack of responsibility. Neighbors, maids, delivery boys and so on, everyone are blamed for the spread of virus. Hospitals are not providing beds, oxygen, medicine etc. The Government of India is being blamed for not taking enough actions and preventive measures to control the spread of virus. Second wave is making us so restless that, everyone else is being blamed for the situation except self. Initially I failed, but over a period of time, I started to be self-aware and today during these testing times, I don’t blame others or the situation, because “EVERY DECISION WHICH I AM MAKING IS A CONSCIOUS ONE & I AM ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT”.įast forward to COVID times. I started introspecting on every action I took. When I was not selected for school dance team, I blamed my music teacher and many such instances, till I was made to understand the real meaning of life through this Doha. When I was not selected for school cricket team, I blamed my sports teacher. All this is because we as individuals lack self-awareness.Īs a kid, I used to blame others or situations whenever I failed or got rejected. ![]() Whenever there is any unfavorable outcome to our actions, we find it easy to make someone else or the situation a scapegoat. It’s easy to blame others and not take accountability for our actions. ![]() As human beings we tend to find fault with the circumstances, with people around and situations. This doha has always been pivotal in making me realize that we are wrapped in perception, judgement and critical behavior. When searched within myself, "I" found the bad one. “Bura jo dekhan main chala, Bura na miliya koy, Jo dil khoja aapana, Mujhase bura na koy.”Įssence: I searched the world for the bad one, met not a single one. One such doha which always remained close to my mind & heart is I loved the rhythm with which my teacher made us read them and explained #lifelessons of each doha. During my school days in Kendriya Vidyalaya, I studied "Kabir Das ke dohe". ![]()
